- Accumulator
- A single bet that links two or more individual wagers and wins only if all the selections win.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team in terms of goals to remove the draw outcome and create a binary result for betting.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for placing bets, separate from everyday finances.
- Bet Builder
- An online tool that lets you combine multiple outcomes from a single match into one custom wager.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event finishes, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes of a match, increasing your chance of winning.
- Draw No Bet
- A wager where you back a team to win; if the match ends in a draw, the stake is refunded.
- Each-Way
- A bet split into two parts—one for the selection to win and one for it to place—paying out at different odds.
- Fixed Odds
- The odds set by the bookmaker at the time of your bet, which do not change once the wager is placed.
- Free Bet
- A promotional token that can be used to place a bet without risking your own money, winnings usually returned minus the free bet stake.
- Handicap Betting
- A market where a goal advantage or disadvantage is applied to a team to level the playing field for betting.
- In-Play Betting
- Bets placed after the match has started, with odds that update in real time as the game progresses.
- Juice
- The commission or vigorish a bookmaker charges on a bet, typically built into the odds.
- Lay Bet
- A bet that a particular outcome will not happen, essentially acting as the bookmaker.
- Margin
- The bookmaker's built-in advantage, expressed as a percentage, ensuring profit regardless of the result.
- Maximum Bet
- The highest amount a bookmaker will accept on a specific market, limiting large wagers.
- Odds
- The numerical representation of the likelihood of an outcome, determining how much you can win relative to your stake.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether a specific statistic, such as total goals, will be above or below a set line.
- Parlay
- A multi-selection bet where all individual wagers must win for the parlay to pay out, offering higher odds.
- Profit
- The net amount earned from bets after subtracting the original stake.
- Roll-over Requirement
- The number of times you must wager a bonus or deposit before being allowed to withdraw any winnings.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a bet, which determines your potential payout.
- Value Bet
- A wager where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving an edge to the bettor.
- Withdrawal
- The process of moving funds from your betting account to a personal bank account or e‑wallet.
- Yankee
- A four‑selection wager consisting of 11 individual bets—six doubles, four triples, and one fourfold accumulator.
